  • Usage data: projects, parts, materials, quotes and settings that you store in the app.

  • Communication data: messages and support requests you send to us.

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing your account.
  • Providing, maintaining and improving NestingPro.
  • Generating quotes, DXF exports and nesting results.
  • Securing the service and preventing fraud.
  • Providing customer service and handling support requests.
  • Sending service messages and, if you have given consent, product updates.

4. Legal basis

We process data on the basis of: (a) the contract we enter into with you upon registration, (b) our legitimate interests, such as security and quality, (c) legal obligations, and (d) your consent, for example for marketing communications.

We only share data with carefully selected parties:

  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for payments, subscription management, invoicing and tax compliance. Paddle processes payment data and invoicing data on behalf of Sounds Clear.
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers that enable the service.
  • Analytics and support tools to improve the app and help you.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, when necessary.
  • Authorities when required by law.

6. Retention period

We retain your data no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. After deletion of your account, data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, unless the law requires a longer retention period.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or transfer your data. You can also object to processing or withdraw your consent. Contact us via the support channels in the app for requests.

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as encryption, access control and regular security reviews, to protect your data.
